Three Boys Hospitalized After Suspected Stabbing at Westfield Doncaster
Three boys have been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a suspected stabbing incident at Westfield Doncaster, a major shopping centre in Australia. The event occurred late afternoon on Friday and involved an altercation among a group of young individuals.
According to a statement by the local police, officers were dispatched around 5:30 PM after reports of a fight breaking out in the shopping centre’s food court. Upon arrival, they discovered three boys with various injuries attributed to the altercation. “One of the boys suffered a suspected stab wound to the upper body, another had a laceration to the back, and the third a laceration to the arm,” police confirmed.
All three injured boys were promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for their wounds. There were no indications of life-threatening conditions, according to police officials.
Authorities have detained six teenage boys in connection with the incident. Law enforcement is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the confrontation and seeking additional information from witnesses present at the scene.
