Fifa Club World Cup 2025 Broadcasting Announcement

MIAMI, Fla. — TNT Sports has announced it will broadcast 24 matches of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, marking a significant addition to its summer sports lineup. The tournament, featuring 32 top clubs from around the globe, kicks off on June 14, 2025, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and concludes with the final on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

This broadcasting deal comes after FIFA’s earlier agreement to stream all matches for free through DAZN, the London-based streaming service known primarily for sports coverage in Europe. TNT’s agreement with DAZN allows the U.S. network to air the group stage, knockout rounds, and the final across its channels—TNT, TBS, and truTV.

“Partnering with DAZN to present the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 further bolsters our sports portfolio this summer,” said Luis Silberwasser, chairman and CEO of TNT Sports. “We’re looking forward to this new partnership as we collectively deliver this exciting new global soccer club competition in the U.S. this summer.”

The expanded Club World Cup format moves from seven to 32 teams, significantly increasing the competitive field and excitement for soccer fans. Notable teams such as Inter Miami and Paris Saint-Germain are expected to attract U.S. audiences. DAZN will provide comprehensive coverage, ensuring all 63 matches are available globally for free.

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, emphasized the synergy between DAZN and TNT in delivering exceptional content. “The combined expertise of DAZN and TNT Sports will deliver what FIFA and fans want—a tournament for generations to remember,” Segev stated.

As TNT Sports integrates the FIFA Club World Cup into its schedule, it is also managing other high-profile events, including the Stanley Cup Final and the French Open, making this summer a pivotal time for the network. The partnership with DAZN indicates a strategic move as TNT adapts to shifting viewer interests after losing its longstanding NBA broadcasting rights.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup represents a financial milestone, with a $1 billion prize pool for participating clubs. FIFA aims to use this tournament to stimulate club football worldwide, with President Gianni Infantino stating, “All revenue generated by the tournament will be distributed to the participating clubs.”

The tournament’s format and coverage reflect FIFA’s ongoing evolution of international club competition, following increasing calls for enhanced broadcasting agreements. The excitement surrounding the upcoming event underscores a growing interest in soccer within the U.S., where the 2026 FIFA World Cup will also take place.

Additional programming and production details for the FIFA Club World Cup will be released as the tournament date approaches, promising a comprehensive viewing experience for fans.
