Broadcaster TNT Sports is poised to air an array of midweek Premier League clashes, diverging from its typical weekend schedule. Among the eight matches scheduled are significant fixtures encompassing teams at both the top and bottom of the league standings.

A showdown between Manchester United and Chelsea is among the marquee fixtures set to grace TNT Sports’ screens this week, adding to the excitement of football enthusiasts across the United Kingdom. This midweek lineup is a divergence from the broadcaster’s traditional showcase of early weekend kick-offs.

With three title contenders in action, the spotlight will be on league leaders Liverpool as they gear up to host Sheffield United at the iconic Anfield stadium on Thursday evening. Additionally, Manchester City will face Luton, while Arsenal will welcome Aston Villa at their respective home grounds on preceding days.

Devotees of Premier League football have grown accustomed to TNT Sports’ coverage of the 12.30pm Saturday matches. In a departure from the norm, the broadcaster is set to showcase a range of encounters, including Southampton versus Leicester City and West Ham United taking on Tottenham Hotspur.

In the 2023-24 season, some 200 Premier League matches have been earmarked for live TV coverage, with exceptions such as Saturday 3.00 kick-offs and certain Sunday fixtures rearranged due to teams’ involvement in European tournaments. Sky Sports procured 128 of these games, while TNT Sports secured 52, and Amazon clinched the remaining 20 over two game weeks earlier in the season.

As the week unfolds, anticipation is high for the high-stakes encounters between Arsenal and Luton. The two teams are set to lock horns in a bid to secure vital points in the race for the Premier League title, building on the intensity of their previous faceoff.

Further tweaking the traditional schedule is the rescheduled clash between Arsenal and Chelsea, now slated for April 23. This adjustment promises to add a new dynamic to the competition as teams jostle for crucial victories in the pursuit of glory.
