Today Show Halloween Costumes 2025

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The TODAY Show celebrated its annual Halloween extravaganza with creative themed costumes from its anchors and co-hosts. The event, which aired on October 31, 2025, featured a cross-country road trip theme showcasing iconic characters associated with various U.S. locations.

Dylan Dreyer wowed the audience as legendary singer Frankie Valli, sharing a video of her rehearsal with her children Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 4. “I’ve been practicing ‘Walk Like a Man,'” Dreyer explained. She also brought along memorabilia from a Four Seasons concert her mother attended in 1968.

Meanwhile, Carson Daly and Al Roker channeled boxing legends from the film ‘Rocky III,’ with Roker portraying Clubber Lang. Roker joked about his costume, saying, “That’s one of the fun things about Halloween; we go a little Hollywood once a year.” Behind the scenes, makeup teams worked tirelessly alongside costume designers to bring the hosts’ visions to life.

Savannah Guthrie dressed as fashion icon Miranda Priestly from ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ complete with a custom-made wig. She excitedly commented, “I just can’t wait to fling my coat on a desk somewhere,” echoing the character’s famous attitude.

Throughout the morning, attendees were treated to performances and glimpses of various costumes. Craig Melvin appeared as Prince, delivering a rendition of “Purple Rain,” embodying the late music legend’s iconic style.

Fans of the show were also entertained by guest appearances, including Mario Lopez reprising his role as A.C. Slater from ‘Saved by the Bell.’ This surprise delighted attendees, showcasing the nostalgic side of Halloween and television history.

As the show continued, costumes featured a range of pop culture references and creative interpretations, ensuring the spirit of Halloween was felt across the plaza. The TODAY Show’s Halloween event continues to be a beloved tradition, bringing joy and creativity to viewers each year.
