Tokio Hotel Twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz Introduce Personalized Menus at McDonald’s Germany
Following the successful tradition of the ‘Famous Order’ menus at McDonald’s in the United States, the renowned musicians and twins, Bill and Tom Kaulitz from the rock band Tokio Hotel, have now ventured into crafting personalized menus for McDonald's Germany. This innovative introduction includes unique menu selections featuring the McPlant burger patty and McPlant nuggets, products stemming from , not yet available in the USA to the best of our knowledge.
Starting today on May 8, Bill and Tom Kaulitz’s specially curated menus will be front and center at McDonald’s Germany, adding their names to a prestigious list that includes global icons like Travis Scott, Mariah Carey, and BTS. The twin brothers have designed their menus with their own burger variations, catering to a diverse range of tastes.
Bill Kaulitz’s signature choice showcases the McPlant® Mango Chilli burger alongside curly fries and a vanilla milkshake, a combination he enjoys dipping his fries into. On the other hand, Tom Kaulitz favors the McPlant Tomato Chargrill paired with six McPlant Nuggets, sweet and sour sauce, and a large Coca-Cola to complete his meal.
Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Germany, Tomasz Debowski, expresses his enthusiasm for this collaboration, stating, ‘The Famous Order menus have seen great success in the USA, and we are thrilled to partner with Bill and Tom for our initial campaign of this nature in Germany. The duo, stars who hold iconic status in this country, resonate exceptionally well with our brand’s young target audience, making this collaboration an ideal fit for us.’
Bill and Tom Kaulitz share their thoughts on this partnership, remarking, ‘McDonald’s has been a part of our lives since childhood, and being asked to create our own menus and burgers was a dream come true for us. As we increasingly opt for meatless alternatives, we aimed to design menus that offer a superb plant-based choice while retaining the distinctive flavor associated with Mecces.’
