ATLANTA, Ga. — Travis Scott, the Houston-born rapper known as La Flame, released his highly anticipated single “4×4” on Friday, Jan. 24, following a series of teasers and a live debut during the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The track, produced by Tay Keith, was first previewed during Scott’s appearance at the Netflix debut of WWE‘s “Raw” in Los Angeles on Jan. 6. Scott also performed a 90-second snippet of the song during the halftime show on Monday, Jan. 20, as Ohio State clinched the national championship against Notre Dame with a 34-23 victory.

In a philanthropic move, Scott announced that 100 percent of the proceeds from the CD bundle and LAFD sales of “4×4” will benefit Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund. Fans can purchase the single on Scott’s official website.

“It’s important to give back, especially to those affected by the wildfires,” Scott said in a statement. “This is my way of helping communities rebuild and recover.”

Scott’s performance at the championship game marked a high-energy moment in an already thrilling season for college football. The Buckeyes’ victory capped off a dominant playoff run, securing their ninth national title in program history.

Following the release, Scott wasted no time jetting off to Paris Fashion Week, where he was spotted at nightclubs and mingling with fellow celebrities. During a DJ set at a Paris club, he even previewed new music for attendees.

For now, fans can stream “4×4” on major platforms, with proceeds continuing to support wildfire relief efforts.
