Donald Trump Jeffrey Epstein Comic Controversy

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump dismissed claims that he authored a 36-volume comic titled Don And Jeff: Time Pedophiles, calling it “a total hoax” during a press conference on Tuesday. The comic, which was obtained by a House committee investigating the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicts Trump and Epstein traveling through different historical eras in search of underage sexual partners.

While the comic prominently credits Trump as the writer and illustrator, he has vehemently denied any involvement. “Epstein was no friend of mine, and I never drew us becoming knights competing to joust for the virginity of a 13-year-old,” Trump stated when asked about the comic. He suggested that another individual might have produced the work and falsely attributed it to him.

In the comic’s narrative, Trump and Epstein use Epstein’s time machine, the Chronolita Express, encountering various historical figures. Each arc typically starts with Trump’s character sharing facts about their destination, before Epstein interrupts with crude remarks. The storyline, critics say, relies heavily on exploitative themes involving minors.

Despite Trump’s claims, public opinion remains uneasy. A Pew Research Center poll shows that 84% of respondents found the comic unpresidential, with many disturbed by storylines involving historical figures such as Cleopatra and Joan of Arc. “If the comics are authentic, they paint a damning picture of the president and Epstein’s relationship,” political analyst Sarah Helbecker warned.

Concerns also arose from graphic scenes that some believe normalize and trivialize serious issues surrounding consent and exploitation. Amid mounting criticism, the President urged that the comic’s authenticity should be questioned. “I don’t draw cavemen,” he emphasized, although past charity work of his includes similar depictions. At the press conference’s conclusion, he maintained that any implication of his involvement was erroneous.
