The official poster for UFC 299, featuring the highly anticipated bantamweight title fight between defending champion O’Malley and challenger Vera, has been unveiled. The event is scheduled to take place on March 9 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

O’Malley, known as “Sugar will be looking to avenge his previous loss to Vera, who famously knocked him out in the first round back in August 2020 at The Arena. Since their last meeting, O’Malley has remained undefeated in the UFC, earning a split decision win over Sterling and capturing the bantamweight title with a second-round knockout of Yan in 2023.

Vera, whose stunning run includes victories over top-ranked opponents such as Aldo, O’Malley, Dillashaw, and most recently Chaves, is set to make his first UFC title shot appearance. With a record of five wins in his last six bouts, Vera aims to prove himself as a serious contender in the bantamweight division.

In the co-main event of the evening, former UFC interim lightweight champion Poirier will face off against the rising star Benoit Saint-Denis. Poirier is determined to bounce back from recent losses to McGregor and Oliveira and make his final push toward an undisputed title. Meanwhile, Saint-Denis, a 28-year-old rising force in the lightweight ranks, has impressively secured five consecutive stoppage wins in the UFC.
