MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada — The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on Friday announced its long-awaited return to Montreal after a 10-year absence, confirming UFC 315 will take place at the Bell Centre on Saturday, May 10. This marks the promotion’s eighth event at the iconic venue, further cementing Montreal’s legacy as a key destination for mixed martial arts.

The historic return was met with excitement from UFC President and CEO Dana White, who emphasized the significance of Montreal in UFC history. “This is where it all started for UFC in Canada,” White said. “Before we were sanctioned across the country, we were packing the Bell Centre with massive fights. Fans have been demanding our return for years, and we’re going to deliver an unforgettable Pay-Per-View. I’m excited to get back.”n

Montreal has hosted some of the UFC’s most memorable moments, including UFC 186 in 2015, which featured a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi. The event also included a co-main event pitting Quinton “Rampage” Jackson against Fabio Maldonado. Over the years, the Bell Centre has witnessed legendary performances from Fighters like Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, and Lyoto Machida.

While no bouts have been announced for UFC 315, the event is expected to highlight Canadian talent, a hallmark of UFC’s events in the country. Fans can anticipate a stacked card, given the promotion’s history of delivering high-profile matchups in Montreal.

Tickets for UFC 315 will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. ET. UFC Fight Club members will have priority access starting Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. ET, while newsletter subscribers can participate in an exclusive presale on Thursday, Feb. 27. VIP Experience packages, including premium seating and athlete meet-and-greets, are available through On Location via UFCVIP.com.

UFC 315 will be the first event at Bell Centre since UFC 186 in April 2015. Since its Canadian debut in 2008 with UFC 83, the UFC has hosted 34 events across 11 cities in Canada, solidifying its presence in the Great White North.
