Valencia Eyeing Castilla Winger Peter Gonzalez as Transfer Priority
Castilla winger Peter Gonzalez, formerly known as Peter Federico, has emerged as a potential transfer target for Valencia. The La Liga club is reportedly eyeing Gonzalez as their priority signing for the winter transfer window, provided they can find a new club for central defender Cenk Ozkacar. This development was reported by AS.
Gonzalez made his debut for Real Madrid‘s first team two years ago, impressing with his performances off the bench during that period. However, the winger has struggled to secure a regular spot in Castilla coach and club legend Raul Gonzalez‘s plans. As a result, it seems logical to allow Gonzalez to seek more playing time elsewhere in order to continue his development.
According to the AS report, Valencia has already reached an agreement with Gonzalez, contingent upon the club being able to sell Cenk Ozkacar. Real Madrid, on the other hand, is willing to let the player leave and will not force him to stay. Gonzalez’s current contract with Real Madrid extends until the summer of 2025, but it is unlikely that an extension will be offered.
