Violence Erupts In Udaipur School Fight

A shocking incident unfolded in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on Friday when a fight broke out between two students at a government school. This altercation escalated dramatically when one of the students attacked the other with a knife.

The injured student, who is in the 10th grade, was rushed to M.B. Hospital and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU. Reports indicate that his condition is serious but stable now.

The conflict sparked unrest in the city as members of local Hindu organizations took to the streets in protest. They shutdown markets and vandalized shops, leading to chaos in several areas. Police were forced to intervene, using batons to disperse angry crowds.

Authorities wasted no time in responding to the violence, implementing Section 144 to prevent further gatherings and maintain order. District Collector Arvind Poswal confirmed that the assailant was quickly detained, along with his father.

The police are actively investigating the motive behind the attack, which reportedly stemmed from a prior dispute between the two boys during lunch break. Eyewitnesses described how, shortly after the incident, students rushed into the school in panic.

Udaipur’s Superintendent of Police, Yogesh Goyal, assured the public that extra police forces were deployed to manage the situation and keep the peace, urging residents not to believe rumors that could escalate tensions further.
