West Coast Eagles Showcase Dominance Against Perth In Wafl Clash

The West Coast Eagles displayed their dominance in a pre-season WAFL clash against co-tenants Perth at Mineral Resources Park. Despite having no stakes on the line, the Eagles showcased a strong performance, securing a 47-point victory.

The game saw the likes of Harry Barnett, Jack Williams, and Harvey Johnston standing out for the Eagles. Barnett, in particular, impressed in the ruck, while Williams showcased his skills with three goals. Johnston, a part of last year’s draft haul, displayed poise and class with two goals.

Clay Hall, a promising young midfielder from Peel and West Coast’s draft pick, managed to get valuable match time after recovering from a potential ankle injury. Defender Josh Rotham and midfielder Zane Trew also contributed important minutes, along with Coen Livingstone, a product of Naitanui Academy.

The upcoming curtain raiser for the Second Generation Academy is set to take place before the Eagles’ upcoming clash against GWS, further highlighting the club’s focus on nurturing young talent for the future.
