William Levy Stars in New Volcano Disaster Film, Premiering November 21
LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor William Levy brings his talents to the screen in “Bajo un Volcán,” premiering exclusively on ViX on November 21.
The 90-minute drama centers on Captain Mario Asensio, played by Levy, who is deployed to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands in Spain, to manage a potential volcanic eruption.
Upon arrival, Asensio discovers that the threat of eruption seems to have lessened, leading to differing opinions among experts. Dani, a volcanologist portrayed by Maggie Civantos, warns that the danger is far from over and tries to advise the scientific committee about the risk of a violent resurgence.
Unfortunately, Dani’s concerns prove to be valid as the town of Garachico faces a significant threat. With time running out and lives at stake, the chemistry between Mario and Dani grows, complicating their race against nature.
Directed by Martín Cuervo, “Bajo un Volcán” showcases a talented cast and is filmed on location in beautiful Tenerife.
