Wilson Odobert Joins Tottenham Hotspur
Exciting news in the world of football! Wilson Odobert, a talented young player, has officially joined Tottenham Hotspur from Burnley.
The 19-year-old winger has signed a deal that will keep him with Spurs until 2029, and he will be donning the number 28 shirt for the team.
Odobert started his journey in the Academy of Paris Saint-Germain before making a move to Troyes in 2022. He had a decent season, scoring four goals in 32 appearances.
His impressive performance at Troyes led him to Burnley, where he made history as the club’s youngest Premier League goalscorer last October, scoring against Chelsea.
During his time at Turf Moor, he played in 34 matches and scored five goals, showcasing his skills despite the team’s struggles.
Recently, Odobert shone in the 4-1 win at Luton Town, helping Burnley start strong under their new manager, Scott Parker.
Now, he’s set to take on new challenges with Tottenham, who are eager to improve on last season’s fifth-place finish in the Premier League.
As part of the summer transfer season, Spurs have also welcomed players like Dom Solanke and Archie Gray into their squad, strengthening the team for the upcoming campaign.
