WrestleMania 41 Night 2: Cena’s Last Chance for Glory

LAS VEGAS — WrestleMania 41 continues with Night 2 on April 20, 2025, showcasing some of WWE’s biggest stars and a riveting lineup of matches. The night concludes with John Cena challenging Cody Rhodes for the undisputed WWE Championship in what may be Cena’s final WrestleMania appearance.
Cena, who shocked fans by turning heel at the Elimination Chamber, earned his shot at the title after submitting CM Punk. His alliance with The Rock adds a layer of intrigue as the anticipation builds for this pivotal matchup.
“This matchup is set to be historic, as Cena seeks his 17th title, which would break the record he currently shares with Ric Flair,” said WWE analyst Brent Brookhouse. “The stakes have never been higher for both competitors.”
Additionally, the card features three other championship bouts. Bron Breakker defends the Intercontinental Championship against Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio in a Fatal 4-Way match. According to expert predictions, Mysterio is poised for victory.
“It’s time for Mysterio to shine as a heel champion,” Brookhouse noted. “His character has developed significantly since his split from his father.”
The women’s world championship will also be contested in a triple threat match, where Iyo Sky, the reigning champion, takes on Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. Each wrestler has a compelling case for the title, leading to speculation over the outcome.
Shakiel Mahjouri, another wrestling expert, believes Belair could emerge victorious. “She is overdue for a major singles title run, and this could be her moment,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the night includes non-title matches featuring AJ Styles against social media star Logan Paul, and a grudge match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest in a Sin City Street Fight. This intense rivalry was fueled by their previous encounters, leading to excitement around their showdown.
“Both men have plenty to prove in this brutal stipulation,” added Mahjouri. “McIntyre is looking to solidify his place at the top of the card.”
Fans are also eager to see the outcome of the women’s tag team title match, where champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez face off against Lyra Valkyria and a mystery partner after Bayley was injured leading up to the event. Speculation about who will partner with Valkyria is rife, with names ranging from Chelsea Green to Becky Lynch joining the mix.
“Valkyria has the potential to shine alongside a big name like Lynch, which would amplify the match’s stakes,” Brookhouse said.
WrestleMania 41 Night 2 kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and will be streamed live on Peacock. With so much on the line, both in titles and personal rivalries, wrestling fans are bracing for a night filled with unforgettable moments.
