Zach Bryan Announces End to Touring to Pursue Master’s Degree, Releases New Music
Zach Bryan, the 27-year-old country sensation, has been making waves in the music industry with his highly successful Quittin’ Time tour, which has spanned most of 2024. Despite the tour’s massive success, with all shows selling out months in advance and setting new attendance records at several venues, Bryan has announced that he will be quitting touring next year.
The reason behind this decision is not a hiatus from music but rather to pursue a Master’s degree in Paris. In a recent Instagram post, Bryan shared his emotional journey and the inspiration behind his decision. He expressed his desire to return home after a year and a half of constant touring and to honor his mother’s memory by pursuing higher education.
In addition to this significant announcement, Bryan has also been busy releasing new music. He recently surprise-released the single This World’s A Giant and has announced another new song, High Road, which was released on November 8, 2024. These releases come on the heels of his latest album, The Great American Bar Scene.
Bryan’s fans in Portland can still look forward to his upcoming shows on November 26 and 27, 2024, at the Moda Center as part of The Quittin Time Tour. However, the future of his 2025 Stagecoach headlining slot remains uncertain given his plans to quit touring.
