Zach Bryan to Headline Concert at Marshall’s Joan C. Edwards Stadium

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Grammy award-winning artist Zach Bryan is set to headline a concert at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Aug. 30, with tickets going on sale this Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. ET.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., featuring Petey USA as the special guest. This event marks the first major concert to be held at the stadium, which has aimed to attract high-profile performers.
Christian Spears, Marshall’s Director of Athletics, expressed enthusiasm about the announcement, stating, “This one has been a goal from the beginning as part of our annual Game Plan. We have worked to make Joan C. Edwards Stadium a viable option for a major recording artist. Bringing a concert of this magnitude to our region with an artist like Zach Bryan is super-special.”
The event aligns with Bryan’s recent announcement of several stadium tour dates for 2025, including performances at notable venues like Michigan Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium.
Bryan has a personal connection to Marshall, having attended the university’s Homecoming Game in 2024, where he witnessed the Thundering Herd’s thrilling 52-37 victory over Appalachian State. This experience further solidified his commitment to perform in Huntington, an area that values strong community ties.
After a successful “Quittin’ Time 2024 Tour,” which included 85 shows across North America, Bryan is maintaining his momentum as a leading figure in country music. He is also scheduled to headline the Stagecoach Festival in California in April and will perform in some of the world’s most famous venues this summer, including BST Hyde Park Festival in London and Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland.
Zach Bryan’s impressive career includes numerous accolades, such as 30 RIAA certifications and a Grammy nomination for his hit track “Something in the Orange.” His self-titled album, released in August 2023, debuted at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts, and he continues to attract a global audience.
Tickets for the Aug. 30 concert can be purchased online starting March 28 through the Marshall Athletics website and other authorized sellers. Fans are encouraged to stay updated for further announcements regarding the concert and Bryan’s upcoming projects.
