Storms Monday night led to at least two tornadoes in Northeast Wisconsin. They were in Shawano County.
Tornado warnings and watches were issued for various parts of Northeast Wisconsin Monday night. An incoming cold front moved into an environment with already strong winds and warm, humid air. This created the perfect setup for storms to develop.
The National Weather Service reported tornadoes and numerous funnel clouds were spotted during Monday night’s storm. The storm mostly affected central Wisconsin, but WBAY viewers captured twisters here, too.
The storm also caused tree damage in the viewing area, including in Green Bay.
