iPhone 17 Pro Max Gets Cheaper in India with Exchange, Bank Discounts

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is now selling below its launch price in India. Major e-commerce players Flipkart and Amazon have trimmed the price, but the real savings come from exchange offers and bank discounts that can push the effective cost down further.

Apple’s original price for the 256GB variant stood at ₹1,49,900. On Flipkart, it is now listed at ₹1,47,900, a ₹2,000 cut. Amazon has gone lower, pricing it at ₹1,43,990, which is ₹5,910 off the original tag. The final payout, however, depends on the exchange value of the smartphone you trade in.

Trading in an iPhone 15 with 6GB RAM can bring discounts of ₹30,000, ₹31,500, and ₹33,250 for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage models respectively. Android users aren’t left out either. An 8GB RAM, 128GB Android phone fetches ₹23,500 in exchange.

For those holding an iPhone 16, Flipkart is offering up to ₹35,600 as exchange value. That, combined with a ₹9,000 discount via the Flipkart Axis Bank credit card offer, brings the effective price of the 256GB Pro Max to ₹1,03,300. That is a substantial ₹44,600 less than the listed selling price of ₹1,47,900.

The phone packs Apple‘s A19 chip, a 6.9-inch OLED display, and a triple 48-megapixel rear camera setup. It also has an 18-megapixel front camera and a 4,823mAh battery. Flipkart lists a one-year Apple limited warranty, and the product currently holds a 4.7-star rating from 2,083 ratings.

Buyers should note that the exchange valuation depends on the device’s condition and eligibility. The bank discount is tied to the Flipkart Axis Bank offer. Checking the final exchange figure at checkout is essential before placing the order.
