PM Modi Releases 17th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Benefitting 9.3 Crore Farmers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his third consecutive term as the Prime Minister, has swiftly taken a significant decision by approving the release of the 17th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This move is set to benefit a whopping 9.3 crore farmers across the country.

The funds amounting to approximately Rs 20,000 crore will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries. The PM highlighted the government’s commitment to farmers by ensuring their financial well-being.

The previous 16 installments have already been distributed, with anticipation running high for the release of the 17th installment. Reports suggest that the funds under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi may reach the farmers’ accounts in the first week of July.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, aimed at providing economic aid to farmers, entails the transfer of Rs 6,000 annually to farmers in three installments. The scheme aims to assist farmers in meeting their agricultural needs and augmenting their income.
