Brandon Larracuente Joins ‘Chicago Fire’ for Season 14

CHICAGO, IL — Brandon Larracuente has joined the cast of “Chicago Fire” as a series regular for the upcoming Season 14, according to Variety. This addition follows the announcement that two long-time cast members, Daniel Kyri and Jake Lockett, will exit the series after Season 13.
Kyri, who has played firefighter Darren Ritter since Season 7, and Lockett, known for his role as Sam Carver since Season 11, both confirmed they will not return. As of now, the show has not provided details on how their characters will be written off, leaving fans in suspense.
Larracuente is best known for his roles in “On Call,” “The Good Doctor,” “Party of Five,” and “13 Reasons Why.” Following the cancellation of “On Call,” which was produced by Dick Wolf, Larracuente has made the jump to this popular franchise. His character details have not yet been disclosed, but he is expected to play a significant role at Firehouse 51.
“Chicago Fire” is part of Dick Wolf’s successful “One Chicago” franchise, which includes “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.” All three shows are set to return this fall on NBC. Alongside the new season, Wolf Entertainment will also launch a podcast offering insights into the “One Chicago” universe, featuring interviews with cast and crew every Thursday.
The changes in the show’s lineup set the stage for new dynamics at Firehouse 51 as the series gears up for its next chapter.
