Bologna, Italy – Bologna Primavera scored a convincing 3-1 victory over Juventus in their latest championship match on Sunday.

The win at Juventus’ home ground marked the team’s fifth match of the season, bringing their points total to 10, just one point behind league leaders Parma. Bologna’s goals came from players Ferrari, Toroc, and Armanini, while Juventus faced a penalty save by goalkeeper Happonen.

Early in the first half, Bologna made their intentions clear. Toroc pressured Juventus goalkeeper Nava, and by the 13th minute, Franceschini put Bologna ahead by converting a penalty rebound. This early lead boosted Bologna’s confidence as they continued to attack.

Before halftime, Toroc struck again from outside the penalty area, doubling Bologna’s lead to 2-0. Juventus had a chance to respond with a penalty kick just before the break, but Happonen saved the shot from Pugno, keeping Bologna’s two-goal advantage intact.

In the second half, Bologna sought to secure their victory. Although Armanini had a goal disallowed for offside early on, Boufandar managed to pull one back for Juventus in the 56th minute. However, Armanini quickly restored the three-goal lead, scoring Bologna’s third goal in the 60th minute.

As the match drew to a close, Bologna managed the game effectively. Though Puukko and Negri missed opportunities to extend the lead, the team was focused on maintaining their performance ahead of their next home match against Atalanta on Friday.

Juventus fielded a lineup including Nava, Rizzo, and Boufandar, while Bologna’s team featured Happonen, Toroc, and Armanini. Both teams showcased competitive spirit, but Bologna ultimately emerged triumphantly.
