Nuggets Face Injury Concerns Before Pacers Matchup
Denver, Colorado – The Denver Nuggets will be without key players Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon in their next game against the Indiana Pacers. Both players are sidelined due to injuries, with Murray dealing with calf tightness and Gordon facing a hamstring issue.
This will be the first game missed this season for both starters, as they were listed as questionable prior to tip-off following a victory the previous night against the Golden State Warriors. Murray and Gordon reportedly had a 50-50 chance of playing, but the Nuggets opted for caution.
Coach David Adelman will need to adjust his rotation in light of these absences. Bruce Brown is likely to start at point guard, while fourth-year forward Peyton Watson may take Gordon’s place in the frontcourt. Both are expected to step up in a game where Denver will be challenged without two of its top players.
Nikola Jokic, known for his exceptional abilities, will be ready to lead the team and take on more responsibility in the absence of Murray and Gordon. The Nuggets are looking to extend their winning streak to four games.
On the other side, the Pacers are also facing injury challenges, missing key players like Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, and T.J. McConnell. Both teams enter the game with a depleted roster.
The matchup is set to tip off at 7 p.m. at Ball Arena, where the Nuggets hope to secure their fourth consecutive win despite the injuries.
