Norman, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma Sooners moved up two spots in the Week 13 Coaches Poll after a crucial road victory against Texas. The win, which was their second over a ranked opponent this season, pushes them to No. 8 in the latest rankings. Oklahoma’s latest victory was marked by strong defense, despite managing only 212 total yards. Head coach Lincoln Riley said, “Who’s it not pretty for? What does that mean? Some people it’s pretty for. I happen to like it.” This reflects the competitive nature of college football, where turnovers and defense play significant roles in outcomes.

Meanwhile, Texas dropped sharply from No. 10 to No. 18 after their 35-10 defeat against Georgia. The Longhorns struggled, trailing 14-10 in the third quarter before Georgia pulled ahead with multiple touchdowns. Coach Steve Sarkisian expressed concern about the team’s performance but remains optimistic about their upcoming matches.
