Menefee addressed Bradshaw’s absence during the show, saying, ‘Terry Bradshaw is not with us. He came to work sick this morning so decided to go home.’ However, Strahan humorously disputed this, indicating that the decision was made by the network. ‘He decided to go home? We sent him home,’ Strahan remarked.

Having been a prominent figure on Fox’s NFL programming for over three decades, Bradshaw joined CBS as a game analyst after retiring from football in 1984, then switched to Fox a decade later. He had claimed to have contacted Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, only to discover he had actually been messaging a pig seller. ‘I shouldn’t have told y’all that, so that you thought that I actually talked to Andy Reid,’ Bradshaw admitted, leaving his co-hosts stunned.
