Acharya Pramod Krishnam Expelled From Congress For Anti Party Remarks

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, a prominent figure in the Congress party, has been expelled for his recent anti-party remarks, citing his unwavering support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and disagreements with the party’s decisions.

Expressing gratitude for the expulsion, Krishnam declared his allegiance to PM Modi, stating that he will stand by him for life. He questioned Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and KC Venugopal on the grounds of his expulsion, highlighting issues like the abrogation of Article 370 and controversies surrounding Sanatana Dharma.

Having contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket, Krishnam’s recent praise for PM Modi during the Ram temple consecration event sparked further tensions within the party.

Born in Uttar Pradesh, Krishnam founded the Shri Kalki Dham Foundation in Sambhal. He had previously vied for a Lok Sabha seat from Sambhal and was part of the Congress’s UP advisory council under Priyanka Vadra’s leadership.

Hence, the abrupt expulsion from the party has left many questioning the party’s decision-making and reflects the growing rift within the Congress, especially in strategic regions like Uttar Pradesh.
