Will Ospreay Buddy Matthews Aew Dynamite 2025

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — All Elite Wrestling (AEW) delivered another action-packed episode of “Dynamite” on January 8, 2025, live from the F&M Bank Arena. The night featured high-stakes matches, including a thrilling showdown between Will Ospreay and Buddy Matthews, as the promotion continues to build momentum toward its upcoming Maximum Carnage special.

The main event saw Will Ospreay secure a hard-fought victory over House of Black‘s Buddy Matthews. Ospreay, still reeling from his loss to Kazuchika Okada at Worlds End, redeemed himself with a series of high-impact moves, including his signature Hidden Blade, to claim the win. Post-match, Ospreay praised Matthews, offering his support if the House of Black member ever needed an ally.

Earlier in the night, the stage was set for next week’s Casino Gauntlet Match, where the winner will earn a shot at Jon Moxley‘s AEW World Championship. Moxley, who successfully defended his title in a Four-Way Match at Worlds End, awaits his next challenger. Meanwhile, the women’s division saw Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, and Kris Statlander compete in a Three-Way Match to secure the Number One spot in the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet at Maximum Carnage.

Other highlights included Bobby Lashley of the Hurt Syndicate defeating Mark Briscoe of The Conglomeration, continuing his faction’s dominance. Kenny Omega also made a triumphant return following his victory at Wrestle Dynasty, while MJF addressed the crowd after successfully defending his “Dynamite” Diamond ring against Adam Cole at Worlds End.

The night was filled with high-energy matches and dramatic moments, setting the stage for next week’s Maximum Carnage special. Fans can expect more intense action as AEW continues to deliver top-tier professional wrestling.
