ANC Names Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae as Premier Candidate for Free State Province

The African National Congress (ANC) has officially designated Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae as its Premier Candidate for the Free State Province, succeeding Mxolisi Dukwana. The decision was communicated by Fikile Mbalula, the Secretary-General of the ANC, in a public statement on the social media platform X. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow’s session at the provincial legislature.

Letsoha-Mathae, a seasoned politician currently holding positions as the ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) Treasurer General and Free State MEC for Community Safety, Roads, and Transport, is anticipated to lead the province with commitment and enthusiasm.

Msimanga remarked, “Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae is mounting a vigorous campaign to become the next Premier of the Free State and is engaging in bold moves and robust lobbying.
