Atlanta FaZe Advances with Two Sweeps at CDL Stage 3 Major

Boca Raton, Fla. – The Atlanta FaZe achieved two impressive victories on Friday, advancing in the lower bracket of the Call of Duty League Stage 3 Major. They swept Cloud9 New York and OpTic Texas, both with a decisive score of 3-0.
The FaZe first faced Cloud9 New York, winning the first match 250-164 on Hacienda Hardpoint. They followed up with a narrow win, 6-5, on Red Card in Search and Destroy, before concluding with a 3-0 victory on Protocol Control.
Next up was OpTic Texas, where Atlanta repeated their success. They secured a 250-161 win on Hacienda Hardpoint, bested OpTic 6-5 on Red Card Search and Destroy, and finished the series 3-2 on Protocol Control.
Earlier that day, OpTic Texas defeated Vegas Falcons 3-0, marking a significant match for them as well. Minnesota Rokkr also performed well, defeating Carolina Royal Ravens 3-1, while the Toronto Ultra crushed Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 3-0.
The Stage 3 Major has a prize pool of $365,000, with the championship team awarded $150,000 and 100 Call of Duty League points. Competition will continue through Sunday, with five matches set for Saturday, including key matchups such as Los Angeles Thieves against Miami Heretics and Atlanta FaZe facing off against Boston Breach or Vancouver Surge.
As the tournament progresses, many eyes are on the FaZe as they look to capitalize on their strong performance throughout the event.
