Bjp Leaders Demand Sacking Of Congress Leader Over Controversial Comment On Kangana Ranaut

Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Shehzad Poonawalla and Amit Malviya criticized Congress leader Supriya Shrinate’s controversial comment about actor Kangana Ranaut, calling for her immediate dismissal.

Kangana Ranaut, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, responded to the remarks, emphasizing the importance of treating every woman with dignity.

Shrinate’s Instagram post, which has since been deleted, featured Kangana’s image with a caption that caused outrage among political circles.

In a statement, Kangana highlighted the diverse roles she has portrayed on screen and advocated for empowering women beyond societal stereotypes.

Responding to the backlash, Shrinate clarified that someone had unauthorized access to her social media accounts and posted the objectionable content.

Malviya, the national information and technology head of BJP, urged Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge to take strict action against Shrinate for her inappropriate post.

Shehzad Poonawalla criticized Shrinate’s comments as disgraceful and called for her immediate removal, questioning the silence of other Congress leaders on the matter.

He highlighted a pattern of derogatory remarks made by some Congress members, including attacks on various forms of empowerment like "Shakti" and recent controversies involving party representatives.

The incident has reignited debates on respectful discourse in politics and the responsibility of public figures in upholding moral standards.
