LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has reportedly found romance with fellow chef Brooke Williamson. Sources confirmed in March 2025 that Flay and Williamson, who have been friends, decided to explore their relationship further.

According to an insider, “They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in. Over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”

Williamson, a California native, has been passionate about culinary arts since childhood. She began her culinary career early, working as a teacher’s assistant at the Epicurean Institute of Los Angeles at just 15 years old. By 19, she became a sous chef at the well-known Santa Monica restaurant Michael's.

Before her relationship with Flay, Williamson was married to fellow chef Nick Roberts from 2007 until their divorce in 2024. The couple shares a son and reportedly separated in 2022. “It gave them some additional shared experiences,” the insider noted, referring to Flay’s own divorce.

In a career spanning over two decades, Williamson has opened numerous restaurants, including the co-owned Amuse Café launched in 2003 and the once-renowned Hudson House in Redondo Beach. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both restaurants had to change ownership. Additionally, she has operated The Tripel in Playa del Rey, which closed in 2020, and other ventures such as Playa Provisions and Da Kikokiko.

Williamson gained national recognition by winning Season 14 of “Top Chef” after initially being eliminated, returning from Last Chance Kitchen to compete against Shirley Chung in the finale. She also previously finished as a runner-up in Season 10 facing Kristen Kish.

In the realm of cooking shows, Williamson has added to her accolades by participating in various programs such as “Top Chef Duels,” “Knife Fight,” “Top Chef Jr.,” and “Guy’s Grocery Games.” Most recently, she has starred alongside Flay in the Food Network’s “Bobby’s Triple Threat” series, which premiered in 2022.

A strong advocate for food-related charity, Williamson has been involved with No Kid Hungry to help alleviate issues of child hunger and poverty, and she has supported José Andrés’s World Central Kitchen, providing meals during humanitarian crises.

As the culinary world watches, it remains to be seen how this new partnership between Flay and Williamson will unfold.
