Bollywood Celebrities Condole the Demise of Producer Ritesh Sidhwani’s Mother

Leelu Sidhwani, the mother of producer Ritesh Sidhwani, passed away on May 17 at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.

Bollywood stars like Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were seen at the funeral to pay their final respects to the departed soul.

Ritesh Sidhwani co-founded Excel Entertainment with Farhan Akhtar, creating a successful production house in the Indian film industry.

Notable personalities from the industry, including Zoya Akhtar, Kunal Kemmu, and Soha Ali Khan, were also observed visiting Ritesh’s residence to offer their condolences.

A prayer meet is scheduled to take place on May 18 at Quantum Park RG level, followed by the cremation at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium.

The celebrities who attended the funeral included Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Chunky Panday, Malaika Arora, and Javed Akhtar.

Ritesh Sidhwani, known for producing iconic films like Dil Chahta Hai and Rock On!, had recently announced the upcoming release of Operation Trident, a film based on the historic events during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
