British teenager Ollie Bearman has officially landed a full-time Formula 1 seat with Haas for the 2025 season, making him the fourth British driver on the F1 grid alongside the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and George Russell.

The 19-year-old rising star, who showcased his talent by standing in for Carlos Sainz at Ferrari in Saudi Arabia, signed a multi-year deal with the American team ahead of his home event at Silverstone.

Bearman, part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, made headlines with a stellar debut where he finished in a remarkable seventh place, earning praises from veterans like Lewis Hamilton for his impressive performance.

With his recent win in Austria in Formula Two, Bearman has solidified his position as a promising talent in the motorsport world, setting the stage for his leap to the pinnacle of racing.

Haas team owner, Gene Haas, expressed his excitement for Bearman’s future, emphasizing the potential of the young driver and the team’s anticipation to see him evolve and deliver on track.

Originating from Chelmsford and having attended King Edward VI Grammar School, Bearman’s journey from joining Ferrari’s academy at 16 to securing a full-time F1 seat is a testament to his dedication and skill in the sport.

Replacing Nico Hulkenberg at Haas for the upcoming season, Bearman’s teammate remains unconfirmed as Kevin Magnussen‘s contract expiration leaves room for speculation within the team’s lineup.
