Brock Purdy Talks Fan Support Ahead of Key Matchup
GLENDALE, Arizona – San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy addressed the media following his team’s game against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium on Nov. 16, 2025. With Monday Night Football approaching against the Carolina Panthers, he emphasized the importance of their fanbase, known as The Faithful.
“Yeah, I mean we call our fanbase The Faithful and they show up. Doesn’t matter where we’re at, home or away. They’ve been an amazing fanbase just over the years,” Purdy said.
Purdy acknowledged that the fans play a crucial role, especially as the season nears its end. “So, Monday Night Football late in the year like this, and a lot is on the line, we all want to go out and show out for each other, but more than anything for our fanbase,” he added.
Despite some injuries, Purdy feels he is improving and is excited about carrying momentum from his last performance. He recorded a 133.5 passer rating against the Cardinals, his best mark of the season and his highest in over a year. “Yeah, I’m extremely excited, feel great. Body feels great,” he said.
Purdy understands the significance of the upcoming game, especially as the playoffs loom. “This is a huge one,” he concluded, indicating the competitive nature of November and December football.
