Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Focus on Dog Shelter Amid Family Rift

Los Angeles, CA – Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, are establishing new roots in the United States amid a growing rift with his famous family. The couple, who married in 2022, has shifted their focus to Yogi’s House, a dog shelter in Los Angeles, as reported by various outlets.
Brooklyn, 26, has recently skipped several family gatherings, including his father David Beckham‘s 50th birthday celebration, leading to speculation about tension within the Beckham family. The couple is reportedly filing paperwork to register a nonprofit organization under both of their names to support Peltz’s dog shelter.
Peltz, 30, has been known for her dedication to dog adoption and animal welfare. She co-founded Yogi’s House with her friend Emma Kenney. The couple aims to rescue and re-home homeless dogs in the area, particularly inspired by the loss of their beloved dog Bear, who passed away in 2023.
“So far, we have saved over 30 dogs from euthanasia at the riverside shelter,” Peltz said in a previous statement, highlighting the urgent need for change in dog euthanasia laws. “The love it brings to your family is like nothing else,” she added, urging fans to adopt rather than shop.
As their new venture takes precedence, Brooklyn and Peltz are spending more time in the U.S., complicating the relationship with the Beckham family, who primarily reside in the U.K. David Beckham is reportedly eager to mend fences with Brooklyn, fearing a rift similar to the one he had with his own father, Ted, after a significant fallout years earlier.
“David and the family genuinely fear Brooklyn could be lost to them forever,” a source expressed, drawing parallels to David’s past experience with his father. Victoria Beckham is reportedly distressed about the situation, described by a source as her “worst nightmare.”
Requests for comments from representatives of Brooklyn and Peltz, as well as David and Victoria Beckham, have yet to be acknowledged.
