Despite starting as the backup in Pittsburgh, Trubisky found himself inactive for crucial games towards the end of the season, including the playoff matchup against the Bills.

During his time with the Steelers, Trubisky appeared in a total of 12 games, starting in seven of them. Throughout his career, he has accumulated 12,536 passing yards, with 72 touchdowns and 48 interceptions in 69 games (57 starts). This experience and depth at the quarterback position are key for the Bills as they prepare for the upcoming season.
