Car Set Ablaze in East Orange, Investigation Underway

In the early hours of Monday morning, a car was deliberately set on fire and completely destroyed in East Orange. Emergency services were alerted to the scene around 3:15 am on Labour Day, October 7, at a residence on March Street.

Upon arrival, police found a white Honda Civic hatchback parked parallel to the property, its interior burned to ash. The Orange Fire and Rescue team quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing damage to surrounding properties. However, glass and debris were scattered around the site, with both front and rear windshields shattered.

The incident is currently under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire. The police are urging anyone with information related to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000. Authorities have assured that all information provided will be treated with strict confidence and have reminded the public not to report details through the NSW Police social media platforms.
