Channel 4 to Air Marilyn Manson Documentary Series Amid Abuse Allegations

Channel 4 is set to premiere a three-part documentary series titled ‘Marilyn Manson: Unmasked,’ exploring the controversial life and career of the rock musician, Brian Warner, known as Marilyn Manson. The series will air from January 14 to January 16, 2025, at 10 p.m. GMT each night.

The documentary delves into Manson’s rise to fame, his influence on counterculture, and the abuse allegations that have recently overshadowed his career. The first episode focuses on his early days and the Columbine massacre, which some conservative commentators linked to his music. The second episode, titled ‘Allegations of Abuse,’ examines the multiple accusations of sexual assault against him, featuring testimonies from accusers and survivors. The final episode discusses the fallout from these allegations, including lawsuits, police raids, and the broader implications for the entertainment industry.

In February 2021, several women accused Manson of sexual assault, leading to his dismissal by his manager, agent, and record label. Rolling Stone published an investigative article detailing these allegations, which prompted a police raid and criminal investigation. Five accusers have filed civil lawsuits against Manson, though no criminal charges have been filed to date.

The series includes exclusive interviews with accusers, industry insiders, and Manson’s former bandmate and childhood friend. It also features archival footage and never-before-seen photographs, providing a comprehensive look at one of the most polarizing figures in modern music.
