Chorley Fc's Fixture Postponed Due To Heavy Snowfall

Chorley FC’s scheduled match against Gloucester City in the Vanarama National League North has been postponed due to heavy snowfall, leaving the pitch unplayable. The decision was made following a pitch inspection conducted by referee Robert Claussen, who deemed the conditions unsafe for play.

With two inches of snow covering the pitch and frozen ground beneath, concerns for supporter and player safety were paramount in making this decision. The club took into account the current weather and pitch conditions, ultimately arriving at the conclusion that the match should be postponed.

A new date for the fixture will be announced once agreed upon. It is important to note that all purchased tickets will remain valid, and supporters are asked to retain their tickets for the rescheduled match.

Chorley FC’s next game will take place against Brackley Town at St James’s Park on Saturday, January 20 at 3pm. Fans can look forward to an exciting face-off in the Vanarama National League North.
