Cleveland Browns Host Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Game During 2024 Induction Week
The Cleveland Browns are set to commemorate the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Week with a special event during their third home game of the season. On Sunday, October 20, the Browns will face off against the Cincinnati Bengals at Huntington Bank Field as part of the inaugural Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Game.
“The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Browns together embody the passion of our city. We are thrilled to partner with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for their 2024 Induction Week with this special first-time collaboration on Sunday,” stated Brent Rossi, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Media at Haslam Sports Group.
Greg Harris, President & CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, expressed similar excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with the Cleveland Browns to highlight the massive impact and influence of our Inductees on rock & roll, the music that connects us all. The first-ever Cleveland Browns Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Game will be an exciting feature of our 2024 Induction Week when the national spotlight shines on Cleveland.”
The game will feature various Rock & Roll Hall of Fame branded elements, activations, and surprises, celebrating Cleveland’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees. Artists from the 2024 Hall of Fame Class, as well as past inductees, will be included throughout the day.
During the game, attendees will experience highlights of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2024 through in-game music and videos at Huntington Bank Field. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-themed giveaways will be distributed. The halftime show, sponsored by FanDuel, will feature a performance by 2024 Inductee Foreigner. Additionally, at the end of the third quarter, Zakk Wylde, the famous guitarist, will join Browns fan-favorite Max Stak for a special performance.
Pregame elements include the surprise return of the Dawg Pound Captain who will smash a guitar before the game’s start. Zakk Wylde is also set to perform the National Anthem. Robert “Kool” Bell, Co-Founder and bassist of Kool & the Gang, will perform the coin toss duties.
Attendees can purchase rock & roll-themed apparel, including hoodies, at the Browns Pro Shop at Huntington Bank Field. More details about the special game day event can be found on the Browns’ official website.
Beyond the game, additional activities include an Ozzy Osbourne “Bark At The Moon” Takeover on Dawg Pound Drive, offering fans interactive experiences such as guitar smash photo opportunities and themed merchandise.
