Cole Palmer Extends Contract With Chelsea

Cole Palmer has officially signed a new contract extension with Chelsea, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2033. The young England forward, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City last year, enjoyed an impressive debut season, scoring 22 goals and assisting on 11 others.

In total, Palmer made 45 appearances, registering 25 goals and 15 assists across all competitions. His impactful performance led to him winning various accolades, including the Premier League Young Player of the Season and Chelsea’s Player of the Season awards.

Speaking about the new contract, Palmer expressed his delight, stating, “I achieved a lot in my first season here, and hopefully, I can continue to experience great things at this club. I want to bring success and trophies to Chelsea.”

Palmer made the move from Manchester City last summer for an initial fee of £40 million, which could rise with add-ons. He quickly made his mark at Chelsea, scoring big goals in critical matches against teams like Arsenal and Manchester United.

This summer, Chelsea’s manager, Enzo Maresca, has plenty of options, especially with players like Palmer back from international duty following the Euro 2024 tournament. Palmer was among the top performers for England, contributing significantly throughout the competition.
