Dangerous Person Alert Issued In Wheatland County

Strathmore RCMP has raised concerns today by issuing a dangerous person alert for Wheatland County. The alert came out at 1:32 PM for residents in the area near Highway 564 and Range Road 252, just east of Calgary.

According to the police, there are two armed and dangerous suspects on the loose. They have urged anyone in or near the areas of Highway 564, Township Road 262, and Range Roads 253 and 251 to take caution and shelter in place immediately.

Residents are advised to lock their doors and windows and avoid opening the door to anyone. The RCMP have strongly suggested that people do not pick up any strangers in the area at this time.

Authorities have set up a containment area as they search for the suspects, and police are working diligently to ensure everyone’s safety. The community is being asked to stay away from the location until further notice.
