Def Leppard, Nickelback, and Mötley Crüe to Headline Inaugural Boardwalk Rock Festival in Ocean City, MD
Ocean City, Maryland, is gearing up to host a new music festival, Boardwalk Rock, scheduled for May 17-18, 2025. Organized by C3 Presents, the team behind the successful Oceans Calling and Country Calling festivals, this event promises to bring a dynamic lineup of rock legends and rising stars to the iconic Ocean City Boardwalk.
The festival will feature performances across multiple stages, offering attendees a mix of live music and coastal scenery. Headlining the performances on Saturday, May 17, 2025, are Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, joined by Halestorm, Bush, Chevelle, Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm, The Struts, Extreme, Everclear, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Kat Von D, and Royale Lynn. On Sunday, May 18, 2025, Nickelback and Shinedown will headline, with additional performances by Three Days Grace, Alice Cooper, 3 Doors Down, Bret Michaels, Candlebox, Night Ranger, Crossfade, Dorothy, Black Stone Cherry, Fuel, Saliva, and Tim Montana.
Renowned rock and metal radio personality Eddie Trunk will host the event, adding his expertise and enthusiasm to the weekend’s festivities. The festival will also offer access to the Iconic Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, festival food vendors, and various Ocean City Boardwalk businesses including restaurants, bars, and shops.
Tickets for Boardwalk Rock are available now, with presale starting on Friday, December 13 at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the public on-sale at 11 a.m. ET if tickets remain. Ticket types include 1-Day and 2-Day General Admission, GA+, VIP, and Platinum, with various amenities such as private lounges, dedicated viewing areas, and complimentary services depending on the ticket level.
