Des Moines residents are gearing up for a flavorful celebration as National Burrito Day approaches this week. With exclusive deals and freebies on the menu, burrito lovers in the city have a lot to look forward to.

As part of the festivities, select Abelardo’s locations are rolling out a special offer available exclusively through their app. Customers can enjoy a $10 discount on orders totaling $25 or more, provided they include at least one delicious burrito. To avail of this deal, users can use the code burritoday24.

In the spirit of the occasion, the popular Iowa-native Mexican grill chain, Pancheros, is spreading the joy by giving away a whopping 10,000 free burritos. Fans can keep an eye on Pancheros’ social media accounts, including Instagram, Twitter (@Pancheros), and Facebook, for a unique code. The first 10,000 diners to input the code into the Pancheros app will be in for a tasty treat.

For those looking to grab a quick bite, Kum & Go is offering a fantastic deal for members of its &Rewards program. On April 4, customers can enjoy a 50% discount on their burrito purchases all day long. Each member can snag up to 10 burritos at half the price.

Chipotle enthusiasts have a special challenge awaiting them in honor of National Burrito Day. The popular chain is hosting a digital word game on its app starting April 2 known as the Burrito Vault. The first 100,000 players to solve the puzzle will receive a buy-one-get-one-free entree code, redeemable on April 4.

Taco John's is also joining the fiesta by offering a $2 discount on any meat and potato burrito combo exclusively through their Bigger Bolder Rewards loyalty program on April 4. To enjoy the deal, patrons need to download the Taco John’s app and make their purchase on the day of the celebration.
