Emilia Clarke Sebastian Fox London Dinner 2024

LONDON, United Kingdom — Emilia Clarke, the acclaimed star of *Game of Thrones*, has reportedly ended her four-month relationship with DJ Sebastian “Bassi” Fox. The couple decided to part ways after realizing “something wasn’t quite right” between them, according to sources close to the pair.

The 38-year-old actress and Fox, a former member of the dream-pop band Mt. Wolf, were first spotted together during a night out in London in November 2024. Clarke shared a glimpse of their time together on Instagram, posting a photo from a dinner with the caption, “Well that’s reassuring.. birthdays a month later never tasted so good.”

However, their romance has since fizzled. A source told *The Sun*, “Emilia and Seb aren’t together anymore. They had a fun time, but something just wasn’t quite right between them. They gave it a good go but, in the end, they realized that perhaps they aren’t the right fit for each other.”

Despite the split, the source added that there are “no hard feelings” between the two, and they hope to maintain a friendship. Clarke has reportedly expressed her desire to stay friends with Fox to her inner circle.

Fox, who gained fame as part of Mt. Wolf, left the band in 2020 to pursue solo projects. The group, which also included Stevie McMin and Al Mitchell, achieved notable success, performing at major festivals like SXSW and Glastonbury and winning accolades such as the PRS Momentum Fund and BPI Music Growth Export Scheme.

Clarke, best known for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in HBO‘s *Game of Thrones*, has built an impressive career in film and television. She has starred in blockbusters like *Terminator: Genisys* and *Solo: A Star Wars Story*, and recently appeared in Marvel’s *Secret Invasion* series. Her performance in *The Seagull* in London’s West End also earned critical acclaim.

In addition to her acting career, Clarke has been recognized for her philanthropic efforts. She founded SameYou, a brain injury recovery charity, and was awarded an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours for her contributions.

Clarke’s last public relationship was with director Charlie McDowell in 2019. McDowell later married *Emily in Paris* star Lily Collins in 2021. The actress has been candid about her personal struggles, including surviving two brain hemorrhages in 2011 and 2013, which she revealed left her “altered on a dramatic level.”

Representatives for Clarke have not publicly commented on the reported split.
