Torino Director Slams Nemanja Radonjic For Lack Of Professionalism, Delays Contract Discussion

Torino director Davide Vagnati has criticized Nemanja Radonjic for displaying ‘a lack of professionalism’ and has postponed discussions regarding a new contract for coach Ivan Juric. The upcoming match against is scheduled to begin at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino at 11:30 GMT. Despite being fairly active in the January transfer window, Torino was not as busy as desired by Juric.

While they successfully resisted a substantial offer from for defender Buongiorno, he sustained a dislocated shoulder that will keep him out of action for at least a month. Vagnati spoke to Sky Sport Italia, stating, ‘We made significant investments recently and fulfilled our goals according to technical, numerical, and financial requirements.’

Some transfers were prompted by tension within the team, particularly involving Serbian international Radonjic’s move to Real Mallorca and Demba Seck’s loan to Salernitana. Vagnati expressed his regret, saying, ‘There were those who no longer had the right enthusiasm to remain at Torino and showed a lack of professionalism. I am sorry to say that, but this was the situation. We will keep those who are eager to train at the Filadelfia every morning and strive for improvement.’

Meanwhile, Juric’s future at Torino remains uncertain. The coach recently voiced his frustration over the lack of reinforcements and has yet to decide on renewing his contract. ‘We have not discussed the contract. I have been quite occupied recently,’ Vagnati mentioned. ‘We will discuss it calmly, for the good of Torino and everyone involved. We will have a conversation with the president and then provide further information.’
