The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a grand felicitation ceremony for the victorious Indian cricket team at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The event, set to commence at 7 PM, will be preceded by a jubilant open-top bus parade showcasing the prestigious T20 World Cup trophy.

As a gesture of appreciation to the devoted cricket fans, the BCCI has arranged free entry to the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday evening. Supporters will have the opportunity to witness the felicitation of the national team in a ceremony filled with pride and gratitude.

Leading the arrangements is the Mumbai Cricket Association, with Secretary Ajinkya Naik confirming the open admission policy for fans on a first-come, first-serve basis. Access to the stadium will begin at 4 PM and conclude at 6 PM to accommodate the eager supporters.

In coordination with the Mumbai Police and BCCI, entry gates 2, 3, 4, and the University side gate will welcome the enthusiastic fans. Stringent security measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees.

The felicitation ceremony will feature the honoring of players, support staff, and selectors alongside the presentation of a substantial prize money amounting to Rs 125 crore. The event promises to be a heartwarming celebration of the team’s remarkable achievement.
