Comedian Aunty Ramota's Bbl Surgery Controversy Unraveled

Popular Yoruba skitmaker, Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, better known as Ijoba Lande, has shed light on the controversy surrounding female comedian Ramota Adetu, famously called Aunty Ramota, and her purported Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

The viral video depicting Aunty Ramota undergoing the BBL procedure, as shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam, stirred speculations about her health status. Silverdam alleged that complications during the surgery had led to Aunty Ramota slipping into a coma on Saturday at an Ikorodu-based hospital in Lagos State.

In a swift response, Ijoba Lande refuted the claims of Aunty Ramota’s medical condition, asserting that the video was created for content purposes. Lande clarified that discussions with close associates of Aunty Ramota revealed that the BBL incident was staged and that she was not in a coma.

Expressing his disappointment with the unfolding drama, Ijoba Lande called out individuals implicated in the saga, including Dare, Ebute Council, and Aboki. He emphasized that the entire situation was misconstrued, citing a conversation with Aunty Ramota’s mother, who confirmed that the comedian was not in Lagos and the incident was not real.

Furthermore, notable actress Toyin Lawani weighed in on the matter, dismissing the claims as a skit and emphasizing the ethical concerns of a real medical professional conducting such a procedure. Lawani emphasized that no legitimate doctor would undertake such risky surgery, especially given Aunty Ramota’s existing conditions.
