Former Congress National Spokesperson Radhika Khera has tendered her resignation from the party, citing discrimination and disrespect she faced over her recent visit to Ayodhya. In a letter addressed to Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Khera highlighted the challenges she encountered within the party after visiting the Ram Temple and witnessing the Ram Lalla idol.

Khera, who has been associated with Congress for over 22 years, expressed disappointment over the treatment she received for extending support to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a move that apparently drew criticism from some party members. Changing her X profile picture to depict her visit to Ayodhya was one of the visible triggers.

In her resignation letter, Khera also alleged that she was denied justice when she raised concerns about being disrespected within the Chhattisgarh Congress unit. This fueled her decision to renounce her primary membership and step down from her post with a heavy heart.

Highlighting her resolve to fight against discrimination and injustice, Khera emphasized her commitment to seeking justice not only for herself but also for the people of the country, vowing to continue her battle despite the challenges she faces.

It is speculated that Radhika Khera may address a press conference soon to shed more light on the matter and reveal additional details. Earlier, a video of Khera accusing Chhattisgarh Congress Communication Department Head Sushil Anand Shukla of misconduct went viral on social media, adding to the escalating tensions.
