Former Psl Players Luis Miquissone And Manuel Kambala Join Mozambican Giants Ud Songo

Former PSL players Luis Miquissone and Manuel Kambala have made a significant move to Mozambican powerhouse União Desportiva do Songo (UD Songo), as confirmed by the club during the ongoing 2024-2025 Mocambola season.

UD Songo, a two-time Mozambique league champion, announced the return of Manuel Kambala, who had stints in South Africa with Boroka FC, Magesi FC, and Polokwane before joining the club.

Luis Miquissone, on the other hand, has rejoined UD Songo after spells with Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly, Simba SC, and Abha, adding valuable experience to the team.

Miquissone, aged 28, returns to the Tete-based outfit, where he previously won the 2016 Mozambique Cup and the 2017 national championship.

Joining him is Manuel Kambala, aged 32, who left Polokwane City after a recent season and has previously played for Boroka FC and Magesi FC in South Africa, bringing a wealth of experience to UD Songo.

The duo will now play alongside PSL veteran Elias Pelembe at UD Songo, who currently sit second in the league standings, trailing Black Bulls FC by three points after nine games.
